Lysol donates products for Mandaluyong's Safe Motherhood Week
In addition to the ceremonial turn over of Buntis Kits and the administering of Tetanus Diphtheria vaccines for pregnant women, the morning program also highlighted the importance of the Safe Motherhood Program of the Department of Health. The program ensures that all expectant mothers are provided with adequate services to ensure safe and healthy pregnancy and childbirth.
Dr. Corinna Katigbak, the Maternal and Neonatal Child Health and Nutrition Coordinator of the City Health Department, gave a message regarding the program, emphasizing the need for proper prenatal care and childbirth practices.
The City Government of Mandaluyong also received a donation of P300,000 worth of Lysol products from Shopee and Lysol, which will be utilized by the Mandaluyong City Medical Center and City Health Department.
Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos expressed gratitude for the donation and emphasized the importance of the private sector's support in achieving the goals of the government's programs.
