Mandaluyong administers over 700,000 Covid vaccines
The Mandaluyong City local government announced on Saturday that it has already deployed more than 700,000 vaccines to its residents and non-residents, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.
The City Health Office (CHO) reported that the local government unit (LGU) has deployed 719,061 vaccines as of September 4, with 452,599 residents vaccinated with their first dose and 282,561 who have been fully vaccinated.
Mandaluyong City had previously achieved population protection last August 10 after vaccinating more than 70 percent of its total population with at least one dose of the vaccine.
The city also started to inoculate non-residents of the city and said that non-residents who wish to be inoculated in Mandaluyong must register with the city’s vaccination program, MANDAVAX, and wait for the confirmatory text or call coming from MANDAVAX regarding their vaccination schedule as the city does not allow walk-ins.
As of September 5, the city has recorded 918 active cases, 19,117 recoveries, and 467 deaths.
