During the evaluation, the team assessed the implementation of various nutrition programs such as the Nutripan program, which provides nutritious bread to the city's public schools, and the Supplementary Feeding Program, which aims to address the malnutrition of children in the city.

The team also evaluated the city's implementation of the First 1000 Days Program, which provides nutrition interventions to pregnant women, lactating mothers, and infants during their first 1000 days of life.

The MELLPI Pro program is an initiative of the NNC to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the nutrition programs of local government units across the country. Through this program, the NNC aims to ensure that the nutrition programs of LGUs are aligned with the national nutrition agenda.

Mayor Abalos expressed his commitment to continually improve the city's nutrition programs and ensure that they are responsive to the needs of its residents. He emphasized the importance of nutrition in promoting the overall health and well-being of the community.
