Mandaluyong Bridge to be closed on Saturday
The Sevilla Bridge in Mandaluyong City will be closed to traffic on Saturday to make way for the installation of coping beams of the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3.
The contractor will move two 180 tonner cranes to be used for the installation of the coping beams.
The bridge, connecting the cities of Mandaluyong and San Juan, will reopen to traffic on 10 in the morning of August 11, Sunday.
Affected motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
The Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 is an 18.68-kilometer elevated expressway starting from Buendia in Makati to Balintawak in Quezon City.
The project is expected to reduce travel time from 15 to 20 minutes from the current two hours.
