Mandaluyong City officials and staff participated in a 2-day seminar on Gender and Development (GAD) related laws aimed at enhancing their knowledge on laws and implementation related to GAD.

The seminar was conducted by the City Legal Department and was attended by various barangay officials and staff. The event was aimed at providing a platform for participants to discuss the latest developments in GAD-related laws and policies.

The seminar focused on the different laws and policies on GAD, such as the Magna Carta of Women and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act. Participants also discussed the importance of gender mainstreaming and how it can be applied in the local government setting.

Mayor Ben Abalos congratulated all the participants for their active participation in the seminar. He emphasized the importance of such activities in raising awareness and understanding of GAD-related issues and laws.
