Manila Water announces service interruption in Cainta, Mandaluyong
The Manila Water Company (Manila Water) has announced water interruption due to its service improvement activities in parts of Cainta, Rizal, and Mandaluyong City from Dec. 8 to 9 and Dec. 13 to 14, respectively, according to a report by Philippine News Agency.
Affected areas are:
Parts of Barangay Sto. Domingo in Cainta, Rizal from 10 p.m. of Dec. 8 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 9, specifically at Ortigas Pawnshop near Junction for line meter replacement;
Parts of Barangay Hulo (Purok 32-38 and Purok 48-60) in Mandaluyong City from 10 p.m. of Dec. 13 until 4 a.m. of Dec. 14 on F. Blumentritt for leak repair.
The water company advised residents in the affected areas to store enough water to supply their needs during the service improvement activity.
Once water service is restored, affected customers were advised to flush their toilets or let water run in their faucets for a few minutes until it becomes clear.
